DESIGN SERVICE

Our qualified and experienced designers are skilled at producing compelling designs which will get your job noticed.
We give you a fixed price for your artwork at the Outset, so you can keep control of your costs. We can work from images supplied, by yourself, through either email or hard copy.
Our design service includes sending you a colour copy for checking content before going to print. Every design we produce is archived on our computer system for a period of 2 years. This makes updates simple and inexpensive.

Design charged at an hourly rate £40 per hour.

Please note the following when submitting artwork:

Bleed 3mm
Images, background colours and fills which are intended to print to the trimmed edge of the page should be extended 3mm beyond the page to give a bleed (to allow for tolerances in the cutting process). Text, boxes and other areas you need on your finished job should ideally be 5mm in from the edges of the page.

Microsoft documents 
(Word, Publisher, Powerpoint) - Minimum charge of £20.00 for conversion into Print ready format.
If you are supplying a description for artwork please make sure you give us as much information as possible.
We will not charge for minor changes but there would  be an additonal cost if we were requested to do any major changes to your original copy.

FILES ACCEPTED
• Powerpoint - PPT • Photoshop - PSD, JPG, TIF, EPS, PDF • Illustrator - EPS, PDF, AI • Indesign - INDD • Quark - QXP

PDF Pre-requisites
• 300dpi resolution image files
• Text needs to be converted into paths
• Transparencies need to be flattened
• 'Overprint' needs to be turned off when originating files

Photographs and Graphics
Colour scheme: CMYK
Photographs should be scanned size for size at 300dpi and saved as CMYK images (The only exception to the CMYK rule is images for Hexachrome printing which should be sent as RGB).
